MY WORK

My work is usually a response to something visual or tactile that catches my eye. It is about close up investigation, abstraction, colour and textural qualities.
My interpretation is created by fragmenting, assembling and collaging. I like to be experimental and inventive in the mixing and use of a wide range of media.
I hope to communicate to the viewer something of what inspired me through the image I produce.

Commissioned work - Seascape at sunset. Collage - using threads & ribbons, textured papers, beads,shells, sand, grit, metallic paints & papers, with paint & inks.
The mounted work measures approx. 110x52 cms.
